Replace your worn bushings and upgrade to a higher performance option.
Specs:
-Carbon-fiber reinforced nylon printed on our Industrial Markforged 3d Printer. The Constellated design will not stress the rack and makes installation easy.
-2 case-hardened, machined center tubes.
If your rack assembly matches OE #45260-30200. This should also fit your vehicle.
Installation:
We suggest using the Ball joint installation tool as it will allow leverage in a very tight area.
-remove under panels
-unbolt steering linkage-note attachment location and add a witness mark.
-remove tie rods from the outer ball joints to make things easier.
-consider dropping the subframe if space is challenging.
-mind connectors and harnesses, these racks are expensive.
-unbolt rack and pull forward.
-Use a block or spacer to support the rack against the subframe and drive out to factory bushings.
-install each side of the bushings, then the center tubes afterward. Use the ball joint tool for leverage.
-lubricate if needed with synthetic silicone grease.
-Go slow, do not let the tube go in at an angle. These racks are delicate, particularly on the drivers' side. go slow.
Once installed and flush, reverse steps.
