■Specifications

Threaded + Upright Dampers
The GR86's strut-type suspension requires high rigidity. While inverted dampers are typically used to achieve rigidity, their construction is prone to friction. Therefore, by adopting threaded upright dampers, rigidity is maintained while reducing friction. Furthermore, the greatest benefit of threaded dampers is their reduced unsprung weight and increased damper oil capacity, resulting in high durability, road compliance, and stable performance. A separate tank is provided for the rear dampers, where securing sufficient case length is difficult.

Reduced Friction Loss
In addition to adopting upright dampers, special treatment is applied to the inside of the damper shaft and oil case to minimize friction. Furthermore, careful attention to the damper oil ensures that the suspension responds linearly to inputs, achieving precise steering response and a supple ride.

Damping Adjustment Mechanism
The damping adjustment mechanism is a one-way, stepless system. Fine-tuning damping force is possible from a single point, allowing for easy, precise settings for beginners and advanced riders alike.

Front spring rate: 8kg + 1.5kg helper spring (SARD recommended set)
Rear spring rate: 10kg + 1.5kg helper spring (SARD recommended set)

*1: Lowering the vehicle height may cause the EyeSight function to stop working. We cannot guarantee this functionality, so please be aware of this in advance.
*2: The "SARD Recommended Set" includes a front 8kg + 1.5kg helper spring and a rear 10kg + 1.5kg helper spring (both manufactured by Swift).
*3: When ordering, you can choose your preferred rate and whether or not to use helper springs from Swift springs.
